The understory

The common definition of ‘’understory’’ refers to the vegetation that grows under the forest canopy.

It is the part of the forest that hardly gets any attention. It shows its beauty to those that take it slowly, observing closely everything around them; to those that stand still for a few minutes trying to feel the forest’s vibe.
